Launching Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign at Ruvuma Region

On 22nd July, 2023, the Executive Director of TANLAP Ms. Christina Kamili Ruhinda participated in the launching of Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign in Songea - Ruvuma region. The Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign is a national campaign already launched in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Manyara and Shinyanga aiming to enhance access to justice for indigents through provision of legal services and education. The official Guest of honor during the launching was the Vice President of Tanzania Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango. In his speech, the Vice President applauded Institutions such as TANLAP for being at the forefront to provide legal aid services as part of improving access to justice for all in the country. The Vice President strongly encouraged Legal Aid Providers to continue collaborating with the Government in the implementation of the Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign that will be implemented across for thee years. TANLAP will continue to participate in the campaign and provide legal aid services and education to community members.
