On 16th August 2023, TANLAP appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs to provide public views/opinions on the Miscellenious Amendments Act No. 2 of 2023 in Dodoma as per section 97 (2) of the Parliamentary Standing Orders of February 2023. The Chairperson of the Committee appreciated TANLAP and other stakeholders including HakiRasilimali and TLS for their opinions and promised to work on the recommendation to improve access to justice for all by enacting people-centered laws that will benefit every Tanzania citizen.The Activity was successful by the generous support of Freedom House.
