On 27.04.2023, TANLAP participated in the launch of the Mama Samia Legal Aid Campaign coordinated by the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs. The launch was held at Chimwaga hall University of Dodoma. The Official Guest at the launch event was Hon. Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa - Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania. In his speech, The Prime Minister explained the importance of this campaign, including asking the religious leaders to encourage the community to condemn acts of violence in the community, land grabbing for widows and dependent children. This three-year campaign aims to provide legal aid services to citizens across the country who are unable to afford Advocates and Lawyers costs.
